Overview

Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu was founded durring the early 17th century in late spring of the year 1611, by Giant Ants. The establishment of Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu was built using the conventions of Undermountain durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu is is constructed arround a series of crampt flagstone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu's political statment focused walls are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.

A look around Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu gives the unmistakable impression the town is one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu brings to mind.

Cultural Notes

A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.

Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. These seemingly impossible principals for an architectural style coalesces into structures which most experts find hard to put into words. It is not that their geometry is impossible, but rather the style's attempt at producing works only describable visually was most successful..

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is short in Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu.

The Ettercap near Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Qÿhtvehb Ald Leyvyu's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves performance art to channel Transmutation energies of tier 3 via throat singing.
